Crime in Chicago has been taken to an unprecedented level and needs to be attended to or more people could either be killed or be harmed. I have collected data that displays where and lists what crimes have taken place in Chicago. The first product I got after implementing the data displays how much the city is riddled with crime.
This display shows 25 districts that are in Chicago where all the crimes in Chicago are, and the type of crime committed. In total there is 208,460 crime cases in Chicago spread out between 25 districts. The population in Chicago is 2.7 million with 208,460 of total crime cases in Chicago that means 7% of the Chicago population commit crimes.
The third shows the list of crimes in Chicago many of them being very vulgar for an example stalking, sex offence, kidnapping, human trafficking, ritualism, etc.
The graph is displaying each district and what crimes that have been documented in the district.

I made a map and located the districts in Chicago throughout the city of Chicago. The districts show how many arrests were made in the district as well. The size of each district is dependent on how many arrests are made. District 11 is the biggest because of it has the most arrest 14,805 there isn't much difference because this is an early version of my map of Chicago you can tell the difference with the districts on my finial map.
For my final product of I created a map that displays how many crimes took place in each district. The map is everything I've previously created put together. To summarize there are over 200,000 crimes documented in the city of Chicago. My graphs and maps display where and what crimes were committed in Chicago.
