Mental Health Resource Guide
House Church Leaders are not mental health professionals, but here is a booklet for you to understand different types of mental illnesses. If you believe anyone in your House Church is experiencing any mental health issues, please look through this guide for insight.
Grief Support Guide
This guide is designed to help House Church leaders walk with individuals and families through seasons of grief. As small group leaders, you are often the first responders to pain and loss in our community. Your presence, care, and practical support can help people encounter God’s comfort and healing.
LGBTQ+ Care Resources
The theological conversation around faith, sexuality, and gender is a complex one that the church has not done a great job of engaging. This page is one that will equip you as leaders to know how to navigate this conversation in line with Garden’s values and how to care for those who are LGBTQ in your House Churches.
Caring for People in Transition/Change
Jesus does not promise stability to his disciples; rather, he is the anchor in the waves of life. In House Churches, we get to play a similar role alongside Jesus for those in our House Churches. Here is a document with some wisdom of how to care for those in the midst of transition/change.
