What & Why?

So this idea came to me while researching Christian organizations to use as a resource for trying to run my business as God would have me. I wanted to find an organization to become part of, to promote and share with my readers and advertisers. Something that would show that I was serious about involving the Lord in my business from the start. Something that people would see and instantly think of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, and equate my company . and it’s first official publication, “” with, to help me be held accountable to my friends, family, church, customers, and the readers of Pickrs.
So the mission was a short one, but as with seemingly all things, it quickly became a rabbit hole. Who knew there were so many Christian organizations that I could become affiliated with that might accomplish my goal? Well, anyway, I ended up putting the logo for “” on my directories, and use their organization as my guideline but, this idea did not come from them. One of the other groups I was evaluating was called “” and they are the reason this website exists. While I didn’t use them, for my directory I did find lots of great things by listening to their podcast, and I continue to be involved in their mission.
In one of the KDE podcasts and documentation there was talk about God being your company’s (Ultimate Chief Executive Officer) and being both led and empowered by the Holy Spirit or (the Ultimate Chief Operating Officer), as well as mention of God as the CAO - Chief Anything Officer. Each of these names for God & the Holy Spirit struck a chord with me, and ultimately set the seed in me to create this website. So, thank you
, dearly for your part in this, I plan on staying involved in your organization and lifting you up as the Godly people and organization that I feel in my heart you are worthy, as my way of showing appreciation.
So now you know the story, please feel free to sign up with the site and participate. I can’t wait to see what the Lord plans for this little endeavor, and where it takes us together.
