Release Notes Version 2.27

Executive summary

In this release (2.27), we continue to maintain our 3-week release velocity, in order to support our clients, Ops teams and sales requests.

In this release, we have implemented key client requests for PSA, Viacom and ISL that have created capabilities to create improved ‘blended’ highlights, handle multi-track audio feeds, and manage download restrictions.

We have also added a new transition for highlight creation, as well as the capability to assign ratings to highlights and web stories.

Apart from these major features, we have also handled a range of minor enhancements/fixes to improve Ops workflows.

I would like to thank the engineering (dev/QA), AI and program teams for all their efforts and acknowledge the continued guidance from our leadership in making our releases successful.

Major features

PSA/Quick highlight filter (ticket 1519)

Users can now select clips in a given content category (across tournaments, ratings, events, players) and create a blended highlight

Please note, we are still working on performance optimization, and this feature may lag for clients with a large amount of data

Viacom/Handling multi-audio SRT feed (ticket 1510)

Users can view, select the audio tracks that need to be used as part of clip generation

Currently, this has been testing on a single URL in 3 languages; however, we need UAT testing from Ops side on live URL

ISL/Download restriction enhancements

Download limit check implemented when downloading clips as zip (ticket 1601)

Only count unique clips/HLs downloaded towards download limit (ticket 1586)

We need UAT testing on ISL account for this feature

Highlights/New transition available

New blackout transition available on highlight-edit page (ticket 1219)

Clip rating/Enhancements

As an optional field, Ops can now provide a reason for assigning a certain rating to a clip (ticket 1474)

Ability to assign ratings to highlights and web-stories created (ticket 1258)

Minor features

Ability to re-add a stream with previous values pre-filled (ticket 1540)

Sony TLM marker correction

Fix to correct the timestamp on a clip when it is trimmed (ticket 1460)

Clip page filter/upload file correction

Fix to align the filters applied on clips page and files uploaded (ticket 1212)

This needs UAT on Sony/Fancode account from Ops team

Title generation for cricket

Enabled configuration to automatically generate titles for cricket streams (ticket 1564)

Implementation of ‘save V2’ button on live edit page (ticket 1606)

Dynamic cropper/Addition of 0.25x playback speed (ticket 1595)

CS team requirement/Option to ‘select all’ when a parent is choosing reviewers (ticket 1673)

Implementation of clip rating functionality for Fancode (ticket 1581)

Enhancement to flipping modal window/Separate screen for auto-flip and dynamic-flip (ticket 1306)

Rule based content generation

We are continuing to develop this feature, and have run a few demos with Ops and internal teams
