Versions view

Inside the project view, we can switch to the “Versions view”. In the “Versions view”, a list of recently published versions is shown, instead of tasks and other objects.

The

Directory tree⁠

on the left is connected to the version table in the middle panel. When a folder object is selected, only versions from it will be visible.

Path - Displays the current position in the directory tree; you can jump to different folders by clicking on the path.

Group by - Group by elements allows you to group version by Status, Publish date, Publisher, or Output type

Sorting - You can sort versions by name or published date

Only latest - When is switched on, only the latest versions are visible. This means that when output has more than one version, then only the newest version will be visible in the “Version view”.

Version Filter - Used for filtering version by version name and parent name

Export to xlsx - By selecting a version and clicking the excel icon, we can also export selected versions to an Excel sheet.

Hide/Show Columns - You can select which columns you would like to hide or show by clicking on this icon.

List/Thumbnail View - Switch between list and thumbnail view by clicking on this icon.

View Preset - Save and load different view presets to quickly change columns and column filtering.

Hide/Show Sidebar Filter - Hide or show the sidebar filter by clicking on this icon.

Versions - Versions are displayed either as a thumbnails or in table, depending on List/Thumbnail View selection.

When thumbnail view is active, besides image you can see additional useful information.

Version status - You can click on the status circle to change the version status.

When you hoover over thumbnail additional icons appears

When you click on Play icon you can play version in RV player, or open it in any software

When you click on Folder icon you will browse to folder in your storage where files for this version are located

When you click on Rocket icon you can run Action on this version

Context menu

When you right-click on a version, a context menu appears. You can add a note to the selected version, run an action, or add a thumbnail from this version to the task, related task, or parent task.
