Version thumbnails

Version thumbnails for images and videos are automatically created whenever a new version is published. If a Task thumbnail hasn't been manually set, the thumbnail of the latest version will be used as the Task thumbnail.
If you want to add thumbnail from a specific version as the permanent thumbnail for a task, shot, or other object, simply right-click on the thumbnail and select 'Add Thumbnail To'. Then, choose the objects to which you want to add the permanent thumbnail."
You also have the option to select multiple versions in the version view, then right-click and choose 'Add Thumbnail To.' After that, select the object to which you want to apply the permanent thumbnail.
