Federal Government Rebate

The rebate from the Federal Government is available for anyone in Australia who gets a new solar system installed.

The amount the customer will be eligible for is dependent on a few factors:

The size of the solar system installed.

The postcode of installation (where the customer lives).

The year of installation.

The Federal Government designed this rebate in a way that lowers the rebate amount every year. This happens at the end of every calendar year, so any installations that are done after December 31st 2024 will receive a lower rebate than installations done on or before the 31st of December 2024.

Solar Victoria Rebate

This rebate is available only to customers located in the state of Victoria.

This rebate is not available to all Victorian homeowners, to qualify they need to make sure they meet certain criteria. The criteria is listed below:

The customer must be the owner of the home where the solar will be installed.

The combined income for all of the homeowners needs to be less than $210,000 per year before tax.

The value of the house needs to be under $3 million.

The home cannot have had this rebate claimed in the past.

The home has not had a solar system installed in the past 10 years.
