The day 19 of the course is dedicated to showcasing your hard work, presenting your completed projects, and receiving constructive feedback and evaluations. Let's break down the day's structure.
Hour 1-4: Final Project Presentations
Each team will have the opportunity to present their completed web application to the class. The presentation should cover the following aspects:
Introduction: Briefly describe your project and the problem it solves.
Objectives and Requirements: Reiterate the objectives of your project and how your web application meets these objectives and requirements.
Project Walkthrough: Demonstrate your application in action. This is your chance to show off all the features and functionalities you've implemented.
Challenges and Learnings: Discuss the challenges you encountered during the development process and how you overcame them. Share the key takeaways and lessons learned from the experience.
Future Improvements: Discuss potential improvements and additions that could enhance the application if given more time or resources.
Hour 5-6: Peer and Instructor Evaluations
After all the presentations, it's time for evaluations. Each participant, as well as the instructor, will have a chance to provide constructive feedback on every project. These evaluations should consider:
Achievement of Objectives: Did the project meet the objectives set at the beginning?
Functionality: Does the application work as intended? Are there any bugs or errors?
User Experience: Is the application easy to use and navigate? Is it intuitive?
Aesthetic and Design: Is the application visually appealing? Does the design align with the purpose of the application?
Presentation: Was the project well-presented? Was the problem and solution clearly communicated?
Hour 7-8: Group Feedback and Discussion
The day will wrap up with a group discussion. This is an opportunity for everyone to share their overall experience of working on the project, the course, and what they have learned. We'll also discuss the feedback received, what it means, and how it can be used to improve your projects and future work. This is a safe space for everyone to reflect, learn, and grow from the experience.
Remember, the aim of the day isn't just to judge the projects, but also to learn from each other's experiences, challenges, and solutions.
