If you’re regularly emailing through Gmail, like I am, it’s helpful to keep your HRM in close sync with your Google Contacts. Doing so is pretty easy. When you follow the instructions below, the
table with the corresponding contact in Google Contacts. And if you’re adding someone new, who isn’t in Google Contacts, then you can simply click a button in the HRM to create a new Google Contact, given the first name, last name, and email of the person.
Step 1: Sync your Google Contacts.
The first step is to sync your Google Contacts into this doc. You should have been prompted to connect to Google when you first copied the doc. If you missed it, you can also manually connect to Google by clicking Insert → Packs → Google Contacts and adding your email as a shared account. Repeat for Gmail and Google Calendar.
