A part of your success at LAM will be finding the sweet spot between our business objectives and your own personal objectives. We want to foster your curiosity and give you the space and tools to invest in your own learning. And we’re gonna get you started early.
1 X FIGJAM
The main outcome of your Program, will be to complete a research project and then present to the team in a FIGJAM. When - TBD generally a couple weeks after the program has finished, we aim to do a cross over between you and the next incoming grad so they can see what is expected of them.
What you’re gonna do is:
Choose a topic for the research; Develop a research question for the research; Make a project that is indicative of the research;
What Do You Wanna Learn About?
Recommend starting this as soon as you can and you’ll start thinking about a topic you’d like to focus your research on. We reckon you should spend about two weeks on this part of the process. We’ve booked out Thursday and Friday arvos for you as study time; Use this time how you like, replace it with studio work if you like, run interviews, whatever, the internet is your oyster. Please feel free to reach out to others on the team to bounce ideas and help in any way you need.
Here are some thoughts - A good place to start is technical skills/programs/process improvements, and also a broader topic of inquiry. It should also be something related to what we do — some suggestions:
