Chapter: 07. Minerals And Ores

Ore: A naturally occurring solid material from which a particular mineral, usually a metal, can be profitably extracted
Exhaustible: To use up something very quickly
Ferrous: Minerals which contain iron, such as iron ore, manganese and chrome
Non-ferrous: Minerals that do not contain iron, such as gold, silver, copper and lead
Endowed: To naturally have a particular feature, quality, etc.
Metallurgical: Connected with the scientific study of metals and their uses
Lustrous: Soft and shining
Wastewater: Water that has been used in the home, in a business or as part of an industrial process
Carbon content: The amount of carbon dioxide present in something
Natural gas: A mixture of hydrocarbons, primarily methane, found along with petroleum
