Shift + Del
When you place the pointer on the right side of the column boundary, it changes to a _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ to allow you to adjust the column width.
resize pointer
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ refers to combining two or more cells into a single cell.
Merging
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ refers to dividing one cell into two or more cells.
Splitting
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ a table means changing the position of the table from one place to another.
Moving
When moving a table, the mouse pointer converts into a _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ sign.
plus
The _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ handle appears at the bottom-right corner of a table and is used to change its size.
Table Resize
To change the style, color, or width of a table border, you use the _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ dialog box.
Borders and Shading
To apply shading to cells, you select them and then click the Shading command from the _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ tab.
Design
The _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ feature in Word allows you to format the entire table quickly with predefined designs.
