The Action Settings dialog box appears when you draw an action button on the slide.
If another transition is applied to a slide, PowerPoint automatically replaces the previous one.
To start an animation of the selected object simultaneously with the animation of the previous object, you would choose the With previous option from the Timing group.
When you insert a video file, it comes with a play control bar at the bottom of the clip.
Media files such as video and audio enhance the understanding of a presentation.
To add your own voice as a narration, a microphone needs to be attached to the computer.
By default, PowerPoint displays your slides in Normal view.
The four main types of animation effects are Entrance, Exit, Emphasis, and Motion Paths.
The Notes pane is the area where a speaker can write notes for himself.
Action buttons are found under the Shapes command within the Illustrations group of the Insert tab.
To start a slide show from the current slide, you can use the keyboard shortcut Shift + F5.
A speaker icon is inserted on the slide when an audio file is added.
To insert a video file into a presentation, you click on the Video → Video on My PC command from the Media group of the Insert tab.
The option Loop Until Next Sound will repeat the selected sound during a slide transition until a new sound is introduced.
