2. LA Conference Update/Summary
3 leads where directly generated with individuals from LA conference interested in learning more about Finance and BHRE services.
Email drip 1 sent to those three individuals on Friday after the conference
Connecting with Ken and Caroline will lead with warm intros and connection with schools who need our services
Ken referenced Key Academy as a possible lead for BR work. I had already added them to the system but school leader I knew has left. Will reach out today to remind/request a warm intro for the two of us.
Further there will be more schools that Ken will want to connect us to (Schools not in the New School portfolio, schools outside of EBR)
Caroline had some concerns at beginning of conversation- voiced all her concerns (Some just echoing Kathy...) but after conversation I feel she left in a more positive light and that she will call when she hears “issues” related to BH
I think Caroline may be just at her end with Charter schools/performances. She spent every session/lunch speech lecturing about how Charters need to stop just “sucking less than the district”
Seems like she may be burned out a bit on charter work...
Financing/Facility session only had a few schools and majority attending were industry competitors
All meetings + Leads have been documented and added to the CRM
3. Prospecting
I attended the first NY critical visit- great exposure to NY school, Amani prep and really thoughtful and in-depth conversations among school leaders to improve performance for the school in Math
No follow-up sent to protect trust as the only non-school entity participating
The next visit is at Discovery, a school that E3 discussed. Visit on registration page says it is in person- will confirm if that is true.
4. Followed up with E3
Update: Response received that they are in the middle of prepping for board meetings and creating a strategic plan
Plan to share information with me when updated/completed and send out a survey
They’re more interested in us visiting schools than an E3 intro- I think we can coordinate to have a little of both with a Rochester visit.
