Group 3 modified DATX #3 and #6. I was part of the physical modification team where we removed the unnecessary switches from #3 in accordance with the controller provided. We split the controller in half by removing the screws, then carefully unscrewed the various switches, buttons and dials not needed to operate the aircraft. The removed components were hot glued inside the shell of the controller to allow them to be used again. We did this to streamline operation and reduce human factors while flying the UAS. The other controller, #6, had the firmware flashed, overwriting the old with the new. This is accomplished by plugging the controller into a computer and following provided instructions. Both modifications are important in the flight of the Believer to insure the platform does what the PIC does when in the air
