For each game session, each player’s competency is calculated as victory_points / table_sum_victory_points * player_count * 100 . This turns everyone’s competency into a relative percentage of the total points scored by everyone in that session, so it’s fair across different games, scores, and numbers of players. If everyone does equally well, each player’s competency will be 100.To keep the leaderboard fair and prevent one lucky game from keeping someone on top, we have introduced a fan bonus multiplier. This bonus grows as you play more games and applies both to different games and to the overall championship. It’s calculated as the 10th root of how many games a player has taken part in.The final score for the Championship Leaderboard is a player’s average_competency * fan_bonus.
