However, please note that food-related businesses are not permitted. Additionally, all ventures must adhere to the FGCU student handbook's guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance and maintain a respectful and positive community environment.

Who can participate in the Side-Hustle Challenge?

The FGCU Side Hustle Challenge is open to all students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programming at Florida Gulf Coast University. Whether you've got a budding business idea or you're an entrepreneurial enthusiast, this challenge is tailored for you! Please note that food-related businesses are not permitted.

When does the Side-Hustle Challenge start and end?

The challenge kicks off on March 18th and concludes on April 3rd. Save the dates and dive into this entrepreneurial adventure with us!

How do I enter the Side-Hustle Challenge?

Joining is a breeze! Just follow these steps:

Provide your FGCU email.

Download the KANU app.

Tap on the "Join the Classroom" button within the app.

What are the judging criteria?

We'll be evaluating entries based on the following criteria:

Sales: The number of completed transactions on KANU.

Feedback: The number of reviews received on KANU.

Views: The number of page views on your KANU storefront.

Can I compete individually or in a team?

You can participate either as an individual or as part of a team. Forming a team can provide you with diverse skills and perspectives to enhance your venture.

How do I win the cash prizes?

The cash prizes will be awarded to the top ten participants or teams with the highest cumulative scores based on the judging criteria.

What other benefits do participants receive?

In addition to the cash prizes, participants will gain valuable experience, exposure, and mentorship opportunities. The competition is a platform to showcase your entrepreneurial skills and connect with like-minded individuals.
