Objects of Use is an established online retailer based in the United Kingdom, specializing in offering a curated selection of high-quality, functional, and aesthetically pleasing household items, tools, and accessories. With a focus on craftsmanship and timeless design, Objects of Use has gained a loyal customer base who appreciate their commitment to providing unique and enduring products for everyday use.
In their pursuit to enhance their online presence and improve the overall shopping experience for their customers, Objects of Use is seeking a redesign of their current website. They have provided us with a design that reflects their brand identity and values, and they are looking for our team to bring that design to life on the Shopify platform. The project will involve migrating their existing data seamlessly to Shopify, ensuring a smooth transition for their inventory, customer information, and order history. Additionally, Objects of Use is interested in setting up the Shopify POS system to streamline their in-person sales and provide a seamless omnichannel experience for their customers.
Our goal is to deliver a website that not only captures the essence of Objects of Use's brand and product offerings but also provides an exceptional shopping experience for their customers, both online and offline.
Project Stages
Store set up:
In this we will do the installation, the complete configuration of the store, as well as the introduction to Shopify. We will configure elements such as:
Payment methods: - CC Card - Paypal- Pago express - Apple pay - Google pay
Shipping methods set up
Languages set up
2. Theme modification
Starting from an existing template we will make the necessary design modifications according to the brief and design provided ( in a Figma file)

Checkout possible ( to be defined according to Shopify plan)
3. Shipping
Setup shipping rates based on the weight of the items being sent
Introduction of automatic postage labels integrating a third party solution like
, which already provides integration for Currently Royal Mail, Parcel Force, and DHL.
4. Data Migration
This task involves exporting data from the current store and importing it to the store in Shopify. This includes the migration of products, orders, customers, and any other relevant information.
Creation of 301 redirects.
4. Mailchimp Integration
In this phase, we will install and set up Mailchimp in Shopify for newsletter management
5. POS
In this phase, we will install and set up Shopify POS in the admin area of the store and provide guides ad mentoring on how to set it up in-store. We would need to define which Shopify POS plan to use depending on the needed features
This phase contemplates the testing and verification of all the changes made to guarantee that it works properly.

Project management approach:
We will start by having a “kickoff” call with you to understand the specific needs and objectives of this project.
We will create a project plan that contains the tasks, times, and milestones of the project.
Throughout the life of the project, we will send you regular updates on the progress and status of the project and any issues that may arise.
We use an in-house project management tool to monitor project progress and ensure we stay on budget and under time estimates.
We make control calls with you frequently to make sure that expectations are being met and to be able to solve any problem as quickly as possible.
