What is it?
This VR experience is aimed at improving the injury experience for runners from a psychological perspective.
What will happen?
I will show you how to use the headset and make sure you are comfortable with it When you’re ready, you will complete the VR experience. It lasts around 7 minutes After the experience I will ask you some simple questions for around 10 minutes Start the test
Ask user how they are feeling Check if user has tried VR before, if so, ask how that went Let user know they can come out of the experience at any point if they feel uncomfortable Sit in chair user will use, centre the headset Open RunningInjuryNarrativesInVr and leave on hold screen Show the user the headset and headphones they will use Show user how to adjust headphones Ask them to try on and adjust Show user where the volume button is Show user position of ridge on back of skull back strap should sit under Show user how to adjust top strap Show user how to adjust back strap Tell user “You need to be comfortable to take in the experience, so take your time adjusting the headset and headphones. Feel free to ask any questions” Ask user to place headset on and adjust straps Ask user to move headset slightly up and down until text is clear Ask user to place headphones over their ears Ask user to adjust volume Check user is comfortable When they are ready press start button
