Portland Art Museum
A small but solid museum, with several exhibits spanning many eras, movements, and media.
Portland Japanese Garden
Small but beautiful garden. A perfect spot for a tranquil moment near a waterfall.
Tom McCall Waterfront Park
Talk a walk up the waterfront to see why we call it “Bridge City.”

Powell's City of Books
A bibliophile's dream, this book store takes up an entire city block. The rare book room is always fascinating.

Case Study Coffee Roasters
I don’t drink coffee, but visitors swear by this local chain. If you want to get caffeinated, this is a great spot.
Mayas Taqueria
My favorite taco place in Portland. Best tacos I’ve found in town.
McMenamins Market Street Pub
Part of a local chain, McMenamins locations are known for being quirky with good food and drink.
Plant Based Papi
One of Eater Portland’s “15 Essential Vegan and Vegetarian Restaurants”, I’d like to give this place a try just from the name, alone.
Portland City Grill
It’s supposed to have an amazing view and barely adequate food. No one goes there fore an amazing meal, but I’d like to go sometime.
St. Honoré Bakery
If you like pâtisserie, this is an absolute must. The baking is flawless.

It’s shocking how many things are made in Oregon. Great place for souvenirs.
MUJI Portland
Adorable, Japanese home goods store. Absolutely worth a visit.
Pioneer Place
A nice mall, in two separated towers, connected by an underground tunnel.
