Greet kids and families as they arrive. Ask questions, such as:
Does your child have any allergies?
Is it ok if they have Puffs?
Does your child need to take a bottle or take a nap during this service time?

Before distributing snacks, check your classroom roster to see if any of your kids have allergies or dietary restrictions. Pour small cups of Puffs and distribute them to the children.

Check Diapers

*Checking diapers is only to be done by a female Zion Kids leader that is 18 or older.
Use a new pair of gloves for each child.
Place the child on wax paper.
Remove the diaper.
Use the wipes provided to clean the diaper area, wiping from front to back.
Put clean diaper on the child.
Place the diaper, wipes and gloves in the diaper pail.
Sanitize your hands.

During pick up time, give each parent a brief update on how their child did during service. Always be encouraging and highlight positives!
