We're so excited to have you stay here at the Nørdik Spa tomorrow! But before you head our way, we wanted to give you a heads up about the forthcoming weather and current conditions. It looks like Arnold is going to be hit with a good amount of snow and extreme wind during the dates of your stay.
Snow makes the Nørdik Spa absolutely magical and we are so excited that you will get to experience it! It can make snuggling up on the couch to watch a family movie just that much more dreamy. :)
That said, we want to give you a friendly “heads up” that the local roads can be tricky to navigate, and it might be tough to get in and out of our subdivision. Unfortunately, with this type of snowfall, the driveway will not be cleared. We’ll leave you a couple of shovels out to clear out what you need. Just be sure to bring some snow-friendly boots and a car with four-wheel drive or AWD. We recommend parking at the bottom of the driveway (but out of the road) to get in and out, and walk up the driveway.
Also, we recommend stocking up on some extra food supplies to ensure you're well-fed if you get snowed in for a bit. (Good news is there’s a market less than a mile away!). And we've got all the appliances you’ll need to cook up some nice meals, so go ahead and get culinarily-creative! It’s not uncommon for power to go out during intense storms like these, so please be prepared just in case.
One more thing: there’s no “roof” over our spa, which makes it amazing for star-gazing on clear nights, but not super awesome if you're getting heavily snowed on. If you have some ball caps that you can throw in your bags; that helps a ton! Just something to keep in mind if you plan on taking a dip during the storm.

Right now there is a LOT of snow in Arnold. It looks like Arnold is going to be hit with a another storm this week, so right now it is hard to predict what the conditions will be like for your stay on the 17th. That said, as a friendly reminder, the local roads can be tricky to navigate, and it might be tough to get in and out of our subdivision if there is still snow on the roads at that time. Today, you must have a four-wheel drive or AWD to access the cabin.
