Timesheeting Tool Description


The Timesheeting Tool is designed to streamline the process of time tracking and payroll management. Key features include:
Filtering Cost Centres by Project Code: Users can easily filter and select relevant cost centres associated with specific project codes, ensuring accurate time allocation.
Simplicity for Users: The interface is user-friendly, allowing users to submit their timesheets with minimal effort.
Pay Interpretation Capabilities: The tool can interpret different pay rates and rules, accommodating various employee compensation structures.
Potential for Daily Data: Users have the option to input data on a daily basis, enhancing the granularity of time tracking.

Workflow:

User enters times per cost-centre entry; . Approved users and cost-centres derived from tables.
The designated manager, identified from the
table, reviews the submission and either approves or rejects the timesheet; .
The payroll department conducts a final review, completing or rejecting the timesheet as necessary and can follow up with users who submit timesheets late; .


Current Status Limitations

No integrations - working off dummy backend data
Manual punch for time entry records (can be automated based on date triggers later)
No account security setup presently, only views. Therefore, no system reminders etc
Working on interpretation (identified out of hours works, now working on overlap of excess of daily hours with outside of hours work)
