This proposal outlines a strategic integration between Swan Innovations and Badge to build a wallet-first engagement model for retail energy consumers. By leveraging Apple and Google Wallet passes, Swan can transform its card-based EV charging benefits and energy trading initiatives into dynamic, personalized experiences—without requiring users to download an app.
The solution enhances acquisition, retention, and engagement through passes that support geofencing, referrals, and real-time updates tied to Swan’s battery and prepaid card programs.
The rollout follows three stages:
🦀 Crawl – Launch an API-driven MVP for issuing Wallet Passes tied to EV benefits.
🚶🏻 Walk – Introduce dynamic offers, geofencing alerts, and referral mechanics.
🏃🏻 Run – Scale with loyalty conversion, merchant offers, and prepaid card linkage.

🦀 Phase 1: Crawl – API Integration & MVP Launch

Overview: This phase focuses on issuing Swan-branded Wallet Passes that align with upcoming EV charging and prepaid card initiatives. These passes are dynamic, location-aware, and fully manageable via API.
MVP Capabilities:
Wallet Pass Issuance – Delivered via link, web push, or SMS alongside card programs.
Referral Sharing – Users share QR codes embedded in passes to drive acquisition.
Push Notifications – Send charging-related alerts or energy credits.
