Welcome to AutoTranscribe Basics. In this document, you will find walkthroughs of AutoTranscribe’s key features and functionalities.

Patient List

The Patient List is the first page you will be taken to after signing in. It contains a list of all the patients profiles you have created.

(1) Create New Patient

To start generating letters, you will first need to create patients. You can do this by clicking on the “+ New Patient” button and entering your patient information.

(2) Patient Profile

Once you have created you patient, you can access their profile by clicking on their name.

Generate Letters

Once you are in the Patient Profile, you will find 2 upload options: (1) Upload Dictation and (2) Type Notes.

Once you have selected your preferred upload option, you will need to:
Upload your audio file or type in your notes.
Complete GP information. Once you have created a GP for the first time, you will be able to look them up again in the future.

Once you have completed the upload process, the letter generation process will start. Depending on the length of your letter, your letter will be ready in approximately 2 - 5 minutes. We recommend that you upload multiple files at once to save time and effort.

Edit, Copy and Approve your letter

Once your letter is ready, you will find the letter status changing from PENDING to REVIEW
Here, you will be able to perform the following actions:
(1) Approve: Once you have reviewed or edited your letter and you are happy with it, you can click Approve to indicate that the letter is ready to be sent out and the letter status will be changed to APPROVED

(2) Finalise: Once you have made the necessary edits, you can click Finalise to indicate that the letter is ready for final review
(3) Copy: If you want to copy the letter out, you can click Copy. During beta, you will need to provide a rating for the generated letter first before copying.
(4) Download as PDF: Click this button if you want to export the letter in the PDF format
(5) Edit: To edit the content of the generated letter, you can click Edit. Once you have finished editing, simply click Save.
