VR Comp Editor

Remark: Unable to acquire Rendered frame error may occur when Track cameras, if so try to change the footage format from mp4 to image sequence/mov in the beginning (i.e. recommend not using mp4 format footage in VR Composition)
File → Project Settings → Make sure use Mercury GPU Acceleration CUDA
Stabilize 360 footage:
Drag 360 footage to new Comp
Window → VR Comp Editor →Add 3D Edit → Check if the 360 footage is selected → Click the button (VR Master Camera Layer is created, also A folder contains 2 new Comp are created: VR2 Output, and VR2 Edit 1)
In VR Comp Editor → Edit 1 (3D) → Properties → Apply AE 3D Camera Tracker → After analysis → At 3D Camera Tracker Effect Control → Click Create Camera (don’t move the screen footage before create camera), trackers points are created
After 3D Tracker Camera shown on timeline, Click Stabilize Footage (below Apply AE 3D Camera Tracker) → VR Cameras Stabilization X,Y,A layers are created and linked up to 3D Tracker Camera in timeline → Click Open Output Render → VR Conversion layer is created on timeline
Render the VR2 Output Comp layer as final video

If need to add 3D material/Text in video:
Drag the VR2 Output Comp layer to create a new Comp, name as Stable footage (new Comp allows the new text won’t break the linking built previously for stabilization) → Add 3D Edit (select the Stable footage layer this time), Tick “I am using 3D plugins” in advanced settings
In VR Comp Editor → Properties (in Stable Footage this time) → Apply AE 3D camera tracker → Create Camera → Track Scene → R click the disc on tracked pointed footage on screen → Create solid → Use Text tool to write text on screen → Turn on 3D icon in timeline → Open Output Render

Select Stamp tool → Double click the footage on the screen in VR Edit 1 Comp (to open/create the new view of the layer?) → Hold Alt to clean the drone → Open Output Render (in VR Comp Editor), otherwise the cleaning is meshed once the cameras is moved
Then Add 3D Edit (as VR Edit 2 Comp, the drone still show here but VR Edit 1 created will handle it when the VR Output Comp rendered as final export)

Tide 3D Tracking Camera to VR master Camera, so that both cameras will be tracked together:
In VR Edit 2 Comp timeline, duplicate VR Precomp 2 layer → Use Pen tool to mask the region for tracking in duplicated (top) layer → On the layer, Pre-comp a layer (Shift+Ctrl+C) (because 3D tracker doesn’t work on mask layer) → Select “Move all Attributes into the new composition”, tick Adjust composition...layers
Go Tracker (R bar menu) → Track Camera → After analyze and points trackers created → Create Camera
Go VR Comp Editor → Edit 2 (3D) →Properties → Track Scene (if error occur, try another Edit 2 (3D) Properties button)
