Import the default glowing sphere project:
Make sure the Cloner→ Object: Instance mode set as Instance
and
the Dynamic body tag on Cloner is not yet cached, as it needs to set up the Shader first
Select Cloner layer → add Shader effector:
Parameter: untick position, Color mode: Custom Color, color: black;
Shading: Add noise: Contrast 50% (make different blackness color of spheres)
Field:
Add Box field → XYZ: 50,100,300cm, Remapping: Inner offset 85%;
Add Shader Field → blending: Max → Field: shader: add noise
In the box field, coord, keyframe X axis crossing the spheres from 0F to 48F → make the curve linear in F curve sheet, set animation repeated
In Octane setting:
In object top bar: create HDR environemnt and Camera
In Matreial bar, create a octance material by node editor, and a octane mix material
Apply mix material to Cloner, octance material to the Visible/Plane layer
Open mix material editor →
Drag octance material connect to Octmix1 Material 1 input;
Set Float texture value to 1;
In Octane material, basic → material type: Glossy; Index: 1.68
Drag Mg Color shade and octane graident in the node, connect as follow:
In Gradient, change color, or use preset and load preset for different graident color
Add 2nd octane material connect to Octmix1 matieral 2, this time the float texture set as 0
→ in octance 2 material:
matierial type set as Universal; Albedo color set as Black, Emission: Blackbody Emission
