Add Attractor → Strength: 10000
→ Falloff → Spherical falloff
→ Remapping, tick Invert → Offset value 80%
Simulate → Force → Field Force
→
Select the Field force layer, add Random Field child under field force
→In Random field , Field tab:
Noise: Electric, scale: 500%
In Field force layer, Object tab: Strength: 100
Spherical field layer, Field tab: Size 600cm
Simulate → Force → Turbulence → Strength 25, scale 15 , frequency 25
Create a plane → Width, height, W,H segments: 2000,100,100,15
→ Duplicate a plane for backup, hide it → make old plane editable
Add cloth simulation on plane:
Tag: iteration 5, stiffness 50%, flexion 50%, rubber 50%
Forces: gravity 0, wind direction xyz, wind strength and turbulence values, all set to 0 (except drag, impact, lift, resistance)
Now the cloth will float around the field area.
Extend timeline to whatever wanted, the strength of Attractor makes the float faster (e.g. 20000)
Make as a slow motion effect:
Select the plane/cloth → R click, bake as Alembic (a new layer formed) → hide all other layers, include the old plane
Create null to cover the plane, Set it the centre of the scene
In Alembic layer, animation → speed 10%, offset -1800 (just an example)
Add subdivision surface
