Xpresso (i.e. blueprint graph)

Ferofluid wt magnetic Xpresso

Create a Disc: outer radius 195cm, segment: 50, 100
Parent it over Displacer effector →
Shading, choose Shader: Layer →
Shader → Noise → click the small picture
Noise type: Voronoi 1, glodbal scale 200%
color 1: white, color 2: black → High Clip: 70%
→ Animation speed: 0.75
In displacer, Object tab → Height 200cm, type: intensity, direction: Planar, Orientaion: +Y
→ Fields (in R25, Falloff in R21): Spherical Fields, Size: 195cm
→ Remapping: Inner offset 50% , strength: 90%
→ Add a curve and shape as this:

Name Displacer as Large, duplicate a new one rename as Small
In Small dsiplacer menu, Object → Height 15cm
→ clear old Shader and add a new one:
Global scale 20%, Low Clip 50%, animation speed: 3

Select Disc layer, parent over Jiggle effector, place it below Dsiplacer effectors
→ in Jiggle, Object:
Stiffness 75%, Structural: 10%, Drag 25%, Iterations 2
Duplicate Small displacer, rename as Wave
→ Height 10cm, replace the Noise shader to an imported volume bear video (mp4 format) made in AE:

In Large displacer shading, add an 2nd layers by clicking Image button in Shader properities (stronger volume beat video), change mode to Multiply:
image.png
In Smaller displacer, repeat the same but use beat video same as Wave one (weaker beat), reduce % to 60%

Select Disc layer, parent it above Smoothing deformer, place below Jiggle
→ Stiffness 75%, iteration 2
Child the Disc layer under Subdvision surface (rename it as Ferro)

Create Oil look material:

Material editor:
Color: black
Reflectance: default specular: Width 66%, Falloff -15% →
Layers, add Phong: roughness and specular strength: 0%, Fresnel: dielecric; Preset: Oil (vegetable)

Xpresso setting for magnet affection on fluid:

Create a null, name as Magnet Position
In Ferro layer, create Xpresso tag, set as following:
image.png
Then drag Noise layer from Large dsiplacer shader in the graph too, drag its global scale in the Noise node:
image.png
image.png
in Xpresso node, R click, select Range mapper and put in,
connect its input to Position Y output of Magnet postion, its output to Global scale Noise input
image.png
In the Range Mapper menu → Node: Output range: Precent;
Parameter: input upper -1, otuput lower” 200%, output upper: 201%
Go to Magenet Position layer, keyframe its postion:
15F, Y: -150
40F: Y:-25
