in AE, import the music in Comp name as Main, R click, Keyframe assistant → convert audio to keyframe
→
audio amplitude layer is formed: hit U to open converted keyframe
→
create a white solid (white background, set in layer → solid setting), opacity, hit its stopwatch for expression, drag to both channel slider, and type *2.5 at the end of script:
Drag Main Comp to new comp, name as Radial, drag existing white solid under Main layer →
Apply Gradient Ramp effect on the solid:
In Ramp menu:
shape: Radial Ramp,
adjust start of Ramp position so the black spot in centre;
end of Ramp: 0,0
click Swap color button, so white spot in middle with black edge
→
R click on White solid, precomp and move all attribute, rename the precomp as Gradient
→
Apply Time Displacement effect on Main precomp → displace layer choose Gradient, max disp time as 0.5 , fps: 200
→
Place the music in the middle in layers, start the main layer at 12f (to compensate the max displacement time set as 0.5...)
For slit scan effect, change the ramp from Radial to Linear
Render the Radial comp layer
