To create hole/window/door on a wall, drag a box on the area where the wall need to be holed ,
in the box, set Brush type as Subtract
If the subtract doesn’t effect on the mesh, it’s order problem, set in order option:
Add A Material To A Geometry Brush
Convert BSP geometry to Static Mesh:
Select the BSP geometry: Details → Create Static Mesh (save the new name)
Open the new created mesh:
Activate Collision (Add Box Simplified Collision);
If the material surface looks problematic:
UV channel 0: untick Generate Lightmap in Details → apply change → tick back the lightmap, apply again
→ select UV channel 1 → save
Sculpt Mesh directly in Modelling Edit mode:
Enable plugins:
Go to Modelling mode:
Commonly used Modelling:
Create: PolyExt
PolyModel: Boolean
Deform: Smooth
(hold shift to do opposite effect when there is brush tools)
