Design Process

Below is the design process for your outdoor design.
We offer this proposal, including all original concepts and designs, with the agreement that you will not share them publicly, on social media, or with outside contractors without the permission of Pratt Guys. We do encourage you to share the site internally with your family and friends and build excitement for your project!

Design Waivers

1️⃣ Color and Selection Waiver: The drawings' materials and colors are for conceptual purposes only and may not represent your final selections. The Material and Color Selection Finalization Form takes priority over any shown materials or colors. Please note that actual colors may vary from what is seen on monitors or when printed.
2️⃣ Landscape Waiver: Any landscaping depicted on renderings is for conceptual purposes only. Client must obtain landscape plan to verify specific plant species and sizes.
3️⃣ Special Features Waiver: Depictions of special features such as water and fire features are for conceptual purposes only. The velocity and volume of the water or fire will vary.
4️⃣ Engineering Waiver: Structural elements depicted on renderings are for conceptual purposes only. Engineering takes precedence over the size, location, and products used for structural masonry, wood framing, roofing, floors, etc.

Preliminary Layouts

Each of the design options below feature both Phase 1 and Phase 2 elements.

Design Option - 1

The first option has the fireplace, TV and Living Room on the West side of the lanai, and the galley style kitchen on the East side. The fireplace is designed to go all the way to the ceiling, with the TV mounted on the face of the chimney. The kitchen is a galley style, with counter height seating on the back side of the island.
The pool is perpendicular to the residence, with the raised spa on the house side of the pool.
This option features a sunken seating area on the East side of the pool, as well as several built in planters to break up the hardscape.
The outdoor bathroom area is on the East side of the pool.

Design Option - 2

In the second option, the kitchen and fireplace are flipped, with a shorter fireplace and the TV mounted on the wall above. The placement of the residence windows would require the kitchen in the first option to protrude into the window a bit, which this option rectifies. This layout could be used in the first design as well, as it does not impact the area outside the lanai.
This pool option has the raised spa on the Northwest side of the pool, with the tanning ledge and steps in the middle.
The outdoor bathroom in this option is surround by a planter bed, which with the proper vegetation would provide a little more privacy.

Design Option - 3

The third option has the same kitchen and fireplace layout as Option - 1, but could easily be switched to the layout of Option - 2 to mitigate the window issue mentioned above.
The pool in this option has the raised spa centered on the West side of the pool, with the tanning ledge centered on the lanai posts. The steps in this layout run the width of the pool.
The outdoor bathroom is set off to the East side of the pool deck, with a planter buffer between the pool and bathroom.
