Work-life balance is incredibly important at iwoca and we understand you have commitments outside of work, we therefore offer flexible working so you can make better use of your free time. Whether you’re looking after elderly relatives or children, exercising, have appointments or anything else, we’re here to support it.
Working hours & location:
Most teams operate a 40-hour working week. Our general office hours are 9 am to 6 pm. Each Team Captain will communicate to their team what the expectations are for office and remote working. As long as it works for the business, we empower you to work where you are most productive and comfortable.
Tech, Analytics and Product (TAP) - Flexibility and Remote Working within the UK
If you're joining one of our TAP teams, you may want clarity about your teams flexibility with remote working.
We value impact and generally work in a hybrid model. We have some team members who are largely remote in either of the UK or Germany due to the nature of their roles or their team.
We want to make sure you're able to operate with autonomy, that requires the right context and knowledge and can vary depending on the team.
We offer the flexibility, for example so that early risers and lunchtime gym-goers are able to organise their day around their preferences.
There's a lot of trust for you to choose where and when you do your deep focus work best, based on transparent communication within your team.
Remote Working Abroad
We can support iwocans to work remotely abroad for up to 8 weeks per financial year (30 consecutive days max), providing there are no tax jurisdiction issues, no working hours/timezone issues, and providing your manager has accepted your request.
