Hello, my name is Isabella Avedician. I am a Part 107 UAS pilot and a currently in my fourth year at Purdue University, majoring in Unmanned Aerial Systems and minoring in Aerospace Studies. I am a member of the Delta Zeta sorority, Xi Omega chapter, and a cadet in the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps. I have a strong passion for aircraft maintenance, defense UAS systems, and working alongside the United States Military and government.
In my first few years at Purdue University, I was originally majoring in Planetary Sciences, but as I was sitting in calculus 3, I realized these math classes were not for me! I knew I always had a love for aviation, had an interest in geosciences and space, so I met with my advisor to explore some other options. I made the switch to UAS in the fall of 2023 and could not be happier that Purdue’s math department weeded me out!
Although this delayed my graduation date by a year, I am still extremely thankful for the UAS department and resources at Purdue University. This is my E-Portfolio to showcase what I have learned and the skills I have developed while being a student at Purdue University.
