That students will score near or above national norms for Bible colleges on the ABHE Bible Knowledge Exam
ABHE Bible Knowledge Exam - Entrance and exit examinations
Eight seniors completed the exam in Spring 2023. Their performance by category is compared to other ABHE schools below. Institute students performed above the national average in 7/10 categories. In two of the categories where Institute students performed below the national average (Pauline Epistles and Revelation), they were within 1% of equally the national average
July 2023. Reviewed the results of the ABHE exam and have no issues with our results. However, there is some concern that the text does not best fit the type of biblical literacy promoted. We discussed implementing some of the terminology that we might not currently use in the classroom.

For example, we believe that some students might be very familiar with Philippians 2, along with the implications it has with Christ, yet not identify it as the passage on the kenosis.

That freshmen and seniors will show significant practices of spiritual disciplines and will be more or at least as consistent as freshmen.
Spiritual Disciplines Survey Freshmen: Psychology of Faith Development Seniors: The Body of Christ (capstone)
Seniors 2023 - 25% (2/8) of students stated that they have personal times of devotion everyday. 62.5% reported to have devotions 5 or more times per week. 62.5% (5/8) of students surveyed attend times of worship, bible studies, etc more than once per week. 100% attend once a week or more. 100% (8/8) of students surveyed regularly tithe.

Freshman 2019 - 50% (5/10) of students stated that they have personal times of devotion everyday. 80% reported to have devotions 5 or more times per week. 80% (8/10) of students surveyed attend times of worship, bible studies, etc more than once per week. 100% attend once a week or more. 20% (2/10) of students surveyed regularly tithe. 70% either regularly tithe or occasionally give offerings.
July 2023. One of the more concerning results is that personal times of devotion has decreased. We may send a follow up survey to determine whether or not this is a real issue or an issue of terminology.
It was also noted that the target might need to be updated to not expect signifiant practices of freshmen, but to rather focus on the development of spiritual disciplines while studying.

Within three to five years of graduation from The Institute, 40% of BA graduates and 20% of masters graduates will apply and be accepted for studies at the next academic level
3-5 Year Alumni Survey (Q4)

“Since graduating from The Institute for G.O.D., have you applied to another degree program at an accredited school?”
2023 - 25% of students surveyed in 2023 (12 total people) have applied to another degree at an accredited school.

2019 - 12% of students last surveyed in 2019 (9 total people) have applied to another degree at an accredited school.
July 2023. On Assessment Day, it was decided to remove the “accredited” word from the survey for future questions. We found this to be unreasonable clarification as an institution in pursuit of ABHE accreditation.

Although we have not achieved 40% of undergraduate students going to a graduate program, we have determined that this is still a good goal. The 20% for graduate students going for graduate is going to be removed.
