Why we need this table?

To keep the main table
DB Reservations

fast. The fewer the rows, the faster (in miliseconds) the code in the button can be executed.
we keep the data in
DB Reservations
⁠
for Today() - 7, which enables any user to look back in case of questions related to the recent past.
To keep the time line up to do date, although you can filter on values like > Today()

How is this table filled?

We have a time driven automation that addRows() and DeleteRows() every night. This automation handles all the work.
The name of the automation is: 03 Archive reservations
May this feel complicated, you can replicate the logic in a button in a table and use the automation only to push the buttons.

Extra

When you have reservations covering more than a year and it is unlikely that you need this info, you can export the data and store it as a csv file.
