Can we create an alternative foot-kick movement with the feet grounded, in case the trackers detach. To enhance the insect-like look, we’re also thinking replacing the kicks with animating wing flaps to better align the appendages with the choreography.

MOCAP RECORDING – IMPROVEMENT NOTES

Tolerance for Minor Mistakes: Since the movements are repetitive, we may not need to stop the recording for small errors. Yuliia will be on set to double check if any retake needed.
Video Recording: No video is needed for the AI tool. Proper video references for each take are sufficient.
Pre-Take Test: Run a 10-second take to verify if the arm rolls are working correctly.
Lunch Break: To maintain calibration consistency, both the stabilizer and mocap suit will remain in place during the break.

MOCAP GEAR – TECH NOTES:

Using the SmartSuit Pro without a custom character in Rokoko Studio during recording.
Double-check that the entire sensor module (including the wires and the fabric section it’s attached to) is properly positioned on the suit. It may be twisted or flipped, which can affect orientation accuracy.
Ensure there are no environmental interferences with the sensors. Keep nearby Bluetooth devices turned off.
