Slack

Slack is a channel-based messaging platform. With Slack, people can work together more effectively, connect all their software tools and services, and find the information they need to do their best work — all within a secure, enterprise-grade environment.
Using Slack will replace email for employees, this way if the office needs something they put it in a specific channel and you might be busy but your teammate who is on the job with you either answers the question or lets you know that the office needs an answer regarding a job.
This should also be used if you need time off, just send your supervisor a message letting them know and they will reply back to you.
When initially signing up for Slack, go to Joey so he can send you the invite to our workspace and he will also set up the notifications that you will need.
Joey will also go over some of the added apps that have been integrated in our workspace, like task management programs, a custom 12 hour update app,

There is a way to add/remove users in Slack via Slack’s desktop app, however it’s much simpler to remove users using a web browser. And by web browser, I do not mean fucking Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer. Now that is out of the way, go here:

Remove A User

You will be able to see all the members of the company’s Slack roster. You will see “Billing Status” there are 3 options: Active, Inactive & Deactivated. Active is what it sounds like. Inactive is a person who can still login but chooses not to and this status is done automatically by Slack - possibly because they rather send annoying group texts that don’t involve 80% of the people in said group text. Deactivated, also what it sounds like. Previous employees possibly some that had a different identify or someone that had lies made up to cover another inactive employees ass because they can’t admit when they do not know something.
