Creating A Folder

Step by step guide how to create a Customer's file folder in Google Drive.


Creating a folder for a new job that comes in.

Go to the company’s Google Drive Folder.
Open up folder. It will always be the first option on the landing screen.
You will see a bunch of folders with the same name. Pick any of them and right click on that folder and select Rename.

The format for folder naming is First Name first Last Name last. Not in all caps. We are not yelling here.
Once you are finished naming the folder, that folder will have a new location - most likely at the bottom of the folder. Click and hold the folder and drag it to Job Photos, then select Move.

That’s it. You’re done. 👍

Template Folders that are in 0 - Blank Folders are already made and follow the same format so uniformity is throughout. There shouldn’t be a need to create another folder in the main job folder. All monitoring photos can go in one folder since they can be sorted by date taken and that will separate the monitoring days automatically
