Internal - Connections between GBP and LocalClarity

Overview

The LocalClarity leverages multiple connection points to Google Business Profiles (formerly Google My Business). We fetch all content from GBP location reviews & responses, business listing details, Insights, posts, Q&A, images, accounts details, etc.) and push content directly into GGP (review responses, listing edits, images, posts, etc.).
Reviews are accessed via two workflows. The real-time pub/sub network that sends to LocalClarity each review received and updates for all locations and the API that allows the platform to call a record of all reviews.
Listing changes, images, posts, and other content added to LocalClarity and then “published” are immediately sent to Google via the API. Updates can be seen in GBP portal within seconds/minutes of a successful upload and typically in public search results soon after.
Edits made with the GBP portal are NOT immediately available within LocalClarity. There is no pub/sub, real-time connection available for listing details. Instead, each LocalClarity profile can be set to make consistent API calls to access all listing details.

Manual Sync Entire GMB Account

In order to perform an immediate sync from the Google My Business portal, you can trigger an update with just a click.
Just navigate to Settings > Authorize Account. You will see a selection of Account Cards. In the lower right corner of each card, you will see an icon. Triggering this sync will initiate the process to fetch all details from Google to update the LocalClarity listing details.

Tip for manual syncs: Make sure when prompted to re-subscribe to Google Pub-Sub.
