The basics of making a map with PamPam

Creating custom interactive maps can be a powerful tool for businesses and individuals alike. With the ability to add multiple markers and use your own branding, these maps can provide a unique and engaging way to showcase information. And the best part is, you don't need to know how to code to create one!
In this post, we'll walk you through the steps to create your own custom interactive map with no code required. So whether you're looking to showcase your business locations or highlight points of interest, a custom interactive map can be a valuable asset.

Create a map

Log into
pampam.city
⁠
, on a desktop computer
You can’t create maps or add places on mobile, yet
You’ll land in your profile, which will be empty. Here’s what
a full profile

looks like.
Click “Create a map”
When you’re making a map, make sure you’re always in “Edit” mode

Add places and more

You can start adding places by clicking on “Add”
You can search for places
Or,
Import

Or you can use the toolbar to:
drop spots directly on to the map
draw, highlight on the map
You can also use the AI Bot to suggest places for you
Use the keyboard shortcut: CMD + K to bring up the action menu in PamPam

Customize stickers

When you add a place, you can:
Select it and click on the smiley face to change a sticker
Add a description
Add a comment
Add a cover photo
Change the title

Collaborate and share

PamPam is collaborative, so you can invite friends to add places to your map
When you’re done, click “Share”
If you click “view only”, people will just be able to see your map but not add places to it
If you click “edit”, people will be able to add places to your map when they are logged in

Deleting a map

To delete a map, make sure you’re in Edit mode, then
From the profile
Go to edit mode
Click on the dot menu to the right of a map
Click “Delete”
From the map
Go to edit mode
Click on the three dot menu to the left of the picture icon
Click delete map
