Plan your budgeted task timeline. Then, track how you're progressing towards your deadlines and visualize your tasks on a gantt chart.
👋 Instructions
Plan: List all the tasks for your project, including planned dates and owners for each task.
List dependencies: For each task, ask yourself, “What task needs to be completed before I can begin working on this task?” Input that task into the dependency column. You only need to select the dependent task immediately upstream (no need to list all upstream tasks).
Work on the project: As you complete tasks and check them off, two things will happen:
Notifications. Owners of downstream tasks will be notified that they can start working on their tasks. The notification is controlled by an
automation

in this doc - feel free to turn it off at any time.
Schedule shifts. As you fall behind or ahead of schedule, click the Adjust downstream dates button to shift the remaining tasks to match the change in schedule. For example, if you finish

three days behind schedule, pushing the button will shift the dates of all downstream tasks forward by 3 days to accommodate the delay.
