Closing a Sale Auction

Completing a sale once the auction has closed

Once the time on an auction has expired, it is time to award the sale to the highest bidder. The first step is to award the sale to the high bidder within GroundOS. Once the winning bidder has been selected, reach out to the bidder to complete the purchase agreement.

Step-By-Step Guide

1. Go to the Clerking View of the auction

From Land Manager, select Listings at the top of the page.

Click the aerial image of the sale auction listing that has ended.

From the listing overview page, click the Clerking tab above the aerial image of the property.

2. Award the sale

Within the Clerking view there is a list of bids placed in the auction. The high bid is located at the top of the list.

Click the submitted button on the far right of the top bidder’s row, in the Status column. A drop-down menu will appear, select Awarded to award the sale.

A pop-up screen will appear to confirm the awarding of the bid.

Click “Yes, award” to confirm.
