Velocia is an incentive based rewards platform aiming to change rider behavior. Velocia uses rewards to encourage people to get out of single occupant vehicles, and into any other form of transit – both public and MaaS – with a mission to improve the way people get around in their cities. Velocia has experience working with Public Transit agencies, Mobility Service Providers and Municipalities.
Product Overview
The Velocia rewards platform is built as an integrated web app designed to be embedded within a mobile ticket/journey planner app.

Our user personas will depend on the type of app that we’re integrated with. Here is what we know about users within the Transit GO Ticket app so far.
Transit GO Ticket
TGT is the mobile ticketing platform within the Seattle region. In addition to this there is also ORCA, which is the smart card (similar to PRESTO).
Persona 1: Daily Commuter
Transit dependent, does not own a single occupancy vehicle Relies on transit to commute to work Persona 2: Casual rider
Take transit 1-2 times a week (usually to go into the office because they work a hybrid job) Persona 3: Occasional rider
Owns a single occupancy vehicle Takes transit on a monthly basis for the occasions that they need to travel downtown
