Once a user earns points we want to get these points into a users wallet so that they can be used for redemption (which ultimately leads to more $$). Additionally there is a higher likelihood for a user to remain engaged if they have points in their wallet.
Improve the browsing experience
Enable users to easily browse new campaigns each month so that they’re aware of how they can earn points.

The main reason why users don’t claim points is because they forget (
Once a user starts earning they are only able to view 1 campaign (featured) above the fold because recent earnings + claim CTA take up most of the screen. This forces users to need to scroll through and increases friction to the browsing experience

Auto-claim
Rather than forcing users to manually claim points, points earned through action campaigns (i.e. ride and earn) will be claimed automatically when the user visits rewards.
Release Plan
Ideally we are able to test this new behavior with small subset of users (users that responded to the user experience survey) and measure their results against a control group.
First session
Show a modal on the users first session after release to communicate the new claiming behavior
Prompt users with a survey to ask them how they like the new claiming behavior
