Discuss:
Align on feasibility
Prep for: Reporting Definition Alignment AOV, retention, active customers on 7/29
Product/tech dependencies to enable
Context:
Melanie confirmed IRL that she wants us to remove one-off purchasers from customer retention reporting, identified on the basis of:
Customers who don’t sign up for a subscription by paying an invoice via CS
Customers who cancel within their first month AND select I didn’t intend to Trying Supplement for one month
Didn't Know About Subscription
Don’t Like Subscription
Trying Supplement One Month

Long-term solution: Support one-off supplement purchases
Propose choices to Melanie at Reporting Definition Alignment AOV, retention, active customers on 7/29:

Goal: Exclude one-off and irregular Restore purchases from customer retention reporting
Option 1: Recommended
Exclude Restore-only subscribers and Restore-only members from retention reporting
Pros: Turnkey solution with simple rationale
Cons: Add’l reporting view to see Restore-only retention internally
Option 2:
Exclude customers who don’t sign up for a Restore subscription (purchased via invoice)
Exclude customers who cancel in first month and self-report their cancellation reason: Trying supplement for one month, didn’t know about subscription, don’t like subscription, single order cancellation
Pros: Specific solution
Cons: Less impactful because of self-reporting, nuanced rationale, requires tech support, increases reporting platform complexity
Update on Bottles / Pouches
Still on track for the existing timeline
Bottles: 1/7 (Med confidence, still waiting for latest EVT)
Pouch: 2/12 (High confidence)
For Inventory:
Turns out there is a 10K MOQ of bottle equivalents. Minimum of 2500 per either bottle or pouch run.
