Manual Subscription Creation SOP
Would like to solidify this today if possible!

test to do:
(1) Verify that manually created subs create orders as expected on schedule
(2) Verify if we manually “charge now” do we need to skip that scheduled payment OR does it bill twice
(3) If we send someone an invoice for an order for just a membership - does that associate payment information with the customer. And once that happens, do we need to make a manual subscription for them.
Celebrity subscriptions
Celebs will receive gift box with test kit, supplements, swag
Goal: enable them to create accounts, get free membership, and not receive duplicate testkit, supplements in month 1
Timing: instructions go to celebrities on Monday
Option 1: Create subscriptions in Shopify
Option 2: Create subscription SKU without testkit & vitality
Option 2: Manually monitor coupon code report daily, cancel fulfillment when orders come through

Vitality Shipments Delay
Make first renewal’s refill date 25 days after order.
Shopify Address Validator is blocking Shopify checkout upgrade
Decide whether to continue forward with Address Validator app
Not moving forward with Address Validator due to incompatibility with Shopify checkout and design limitations
Aligned on this not currently being a priority, can revisit in the future if increase in scale justifies prioritization
APO addresses
We are unable to ship here, need to create a hard stop.
Armed forces have been removed from Shopify shipping zones. Shopify plus support has confirmed that this prevents APO addresses from being entered.

Next step: retest checkout with APO address from prior customer(s), member success to provide
Katie to test check-out with APO address, update Help Center to reflect this, Create a Macro for these types of inquiries.
