Amplify discounts

Current state:

Shopify discounts Amplify when:

First-time customers apply their discount code at checkout and include Amplify in their first order

Existing customers who add on Amplify their discount code when they upgrade (auto-apply or manually apply) **Discuss limitations (Add-on via Shopify, add-on via member app, Seal capabilities)

Existing customers removing and reapplying their discount code via the Account / Manage Subscription screen after they upgrade

Align on current customer-facing limitations:

Amplify upgrade workflow via member app doesn’t allow customers to add discount code

Amplify upgrade workflow via Shopify doesn’t allow customers to add discount code

Ability to auto-apply discount codes — Matt to advise per Seal

Walkthrough manual steps to resolve:

Confirm that discount code discounts Amplify

View customers who have applied discount

Remove and re-apply discount code via Seal

Turn off gorgias chat from popping up on the Shop page

Heads up we turned off the gorgias chat from auto-popping up on the shop page given it covers the shopping cart.

Amplify Samples for Tests

Context: We want to add samples of amplify and vitality to single test kits. Or just amplify for those who are only doing Vitality only memberships.

Open Quesiton: Could we add samples to test kits as a SKU for Fidelitone? Such that new members would get a sample packet of Amplify which they get their order?

Operationally that it can be done.

Employer Benefits for Tempus

Context: Melanie and Tracy were discussing the possibility to discount tests for Tempus employees. As a result, we want a way for them to use a 1 time use promo code so that they can get a discount by verifying their tempus email (or proof that they work there)

Open Question: Is there a way to do this?

Option 1: Promo code and set it up with a specific landing page that has this promo code and only send it to Tempus employees. However, it can still be posted on Reddit.

Confirm your email and make sure it is scal

Option 2: Only allow people with @tempus.com email addresses. Then give and instructions on how to change email.

May still need a separate landing page

Make sure it is not SSO

Put this on the landing page to include the change email

Put a cap on the number of use cases.

Scalable Way: Create an EDI system that know if a customer is still an employee.

Seal ‘Cancellation Scheduler’ feature
