Testing approach for Fidelitone migration
Risks to solve for:
Complexity of migrating product attachments for all subscriptions
Sooner launch = greater business value
Proposed solutions:
Conduct E2E testing with sample physical products after 2/27, in order to test before real products arrive Unknowns: quantified time advantage, feasibility and sample product requirements w/ Fidelitone
E2E test with expedited shipping in order to accelerate E2E testing time Unknowns: Standard shipping must be tested E2E
Testing will be broken out into three parts:

Test cases will be sent mid-Feb (will include combination of orders w/ bottles, pouches, tests)

Niacinimide Update
NAD Launch - Hey team I wanted to follow up with you all after my call with Gemini today. We have come up with a plan to limit the delay of NAD to only ~2 weeks post bottles / pouches but I will try to get us back on schedule.

Source of Issue
Black capsules have inconsistent lengths (5-10% are truncated).
Visual inspections showed no issues (color, quality), but measurements weren’t taken as that was not protocol.
Note: This is the first time Gemini has experience this type of issue.
This length inspection is also not in the SOP for both the manufacturer
Immediate Solution
Will still run the capsules but will do the following to limit lower yield (~70-80%). Meaning they will fill less bottles / pouches than expected.
Run production at 50% speed
Double polishing (e.g., remove any excess debris or broken capsules)
100% physical inspection of finished product (e.g., length)
Target Bulk Capsule Readiness: 1/24/25 (e.g., ready for jars and pouches)
Target Ready to Ship: mid to late Feb
If all goes to plan
Indian Manufacture is immediately creating a new batch of 1M capsules at no cost for future turn around.
