👋 About Flux
is building the first AI Hardware Engineer. Our mission is to make hardware design faster, smarter, and accessible to everyone by combining professional-grade PCB design with the power of AI. Hardware design has been stuck in the past—clunky tools, siloed workflows, and painful collaboration. Flux changes that. Our browser-based platform is AI-native from the ground up, helping teams go from idea to prototype with unprecedented speed and clarity.
We’re backed by leading investors and trusted by thousands of engineers, startups, and enterprises who use Flux to design the next generation of electronics.
👨🎤 About Our Team
We love building things! After getting frustrated with the clunky existing toolchain for electronics design, we started Flux. We wanted something that’s collaborative, and helps getting things done, so engineers can seamlessly build better hardware together.
The Flux founding team has worked at Apple, Facebook, Microsoft, Salesforce, Pixar and NASA on hardware and software projects. Lance, our head of UI/UX worked on HIL simulation at NASA and Lenovo, drone hardware and flight software. Our CEO Matthias, has a mixed HW/SW background and most recently worked as a product lead on new sharing products at Facebook.
We are a fully remote team (and always will be), spread across 5 continents and 14 countries! This means that we don’t have hard schedules, and instead give each other the freedom to have the most impact. We do have regular team meetings - including weekly Demo’s, bi-weekly All-hands, monthly Retro’s across various groups - which are recorded so you can watch/comment when you’re available.
❤️ Our Values
Impact - We focus on challenges that will have the most outsized impact. Velocity - We set our sights and MOVE FAST towards our goals. Curiosity - We are insatiable curious and always value new approaches. Good ideas always win at Flux and no one has a monopoly on good ideas. Risk Taking - We wake up ready to give our all and fail; we believe that you're guaranteed to fail if you don't take any risks, so we’d rather go out fighting! Teamwork - We support each other and share ownership of our challenges and rewards. We are in this together, always. Transparency - We work hard to make sure everyone on the team has access to as much information as possible about every part of the company so they can make the best decisions and have the greatest impact. Customer Obsession - We constantly listen to customers, and then continuously build our products to solve their gnarliest problems.
💼 Open Roles
Below are our current job openings. Prior experience with HW or Electronics is not required - except for our HW internships! If the roles below don’t fit you, we’d still love to have you in our network for upcoming opportunities. PS. We're always looking to meet Engineers who are interested in writing news, technical articles, or building tutorials.
To get in touch, apply below or reach out to Talent@flux.ai and tell us a little about yourself!
- The strategist steering the rocket, turning data and bold bets into a repeatable growth engine. - The builder-hacker who codes experiments, bends systems, and removes friction to unlock user growth. - The storyteller-experimenter who crafts campaigns, messages, and channels that bring new users in and keep them hooked.
💪 Your Impact
At Flux, you won’t just be writing code—you’ll help build the future of hardware design. Our engineers are shaping how AI and humans collaborate on complex technical work. You’ll:
Push the limits of real-time, browser-based CAD with thousands of 3D objects. Build ML-powered systems that help engineers design faster and smarter. Extend our collaborative infrastructure so global teams can stay in sync. Create new workflows where Copilot actively prevents mistakes and accelerates prototyping. Empower a community of builders designing the future of electronics.
